HOW TO CHECK SYSTEM PRESSURE
(ROOMS AND GEN SLIDE)

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

It is assumed the system pressure test for the step has just been completed and the
step system pressure is ok.

Leave the swivel tee, hose and pressure gauge connected to the
step supply fitting (non-isolated pressure).

Re-attach the Room/Generator supply hose to the Room/Generator
supply fitting (isolated pressure).

Make sure all Room sync. cylinder and/or Gen-slide remote manifold solenoid valve release levers are in the valve closed position.
The levers should be slightly loose when closed.

Move the isolation solenoid valve release lever to the valve closed position.

Use pump run switch to run the pump while monitoring the pressure gauge.
Make sure there are no rooms or the gen-slide moving with the pump running.

Pressure should be between 3400 PSI and 3600 PSI

When all pressure tests are completed and all tests indicate pressure is good,
remove the swivel tee fitting and pressure gauge
then re-attach the step supply hose to the step supply fitting (non-isolated pressure).
