AUXILIARY PUMP RUN SWITCH DIAGNOSTICS

THERE IS 10 VOLTS OR MORE ON TERMINALS 2 AND 5 OF THE PUMP RUN SWITCH

IMPORTANT:
PUMP RUN SWITCH ONLY WORKS IN ONE DIRECTION
IGNITION SWITCH MUST BE OFF WHEN TESTING PUMP RUN SWITCH

 

                      

While pushing the pump run switch, check for +12 volts between the ground stud on the side of the pump and terminals 1 and 4 of the pump run switch.

 

A minimum of 10 volts is present on
both terminals 1 and 4 of the pump run switch		 A minimum of 10 volts is NOT present
on both terminals 1 and 4 of the pump run switch
