THERE IS 12 OR MORE VOLTS PRESENT BETWEEN TERMINAL #1 OF THE MASTER RELAY AND A GOOD FRAME GROUND WITHOUT PUSHING THE PUMP RUN SWITCH
The issue is with the ground stud on the side of the pump or the grounding of the pump. Make sure the ground stud is tight and free of corrosion. Make sure the pump mounting bolts are tight. Make sure the pump mounting bracket is securely fastened to the vehicle frame. If a ground cable is used, make sure it’s connections to the ground stud and frame is tight and free of corrosion. Make sure the ground cable is at least the same gauge as the battery cable supplying voltage to the master relay. Add a ground cable if necessary. | |
