HOW TO CHECK PUMP PRESSURE

  • Remove the MIOM from the top of the power unit. Don’t disconnect wiring.
  • Disconnect the steel tube from the shuttle valve fitting. Leave the tube connected to the manifold fitting. Make sure steel tube nut is still tight.
  • Remove the steel cap or Hose from the non-isolated pressure fitting.
  • Use a 1/4" union and steel cap (steel plug if available) to plug the steel shuttle valve tube.
  • Attach a 5000 PSI pressure gauge to the non-isolated pressure fitting.
  • Use the pump run switch to run the pump while monitoring the pressure gauge while the pump is running.
  • Pressure should be between 3400 PSI and 3600 PSI.
