HOW TO ADJUST PUMP PRESSURE

  • Keep the 5000 PSI pressure gauge attached to the non-isolated pressure fitting.
  • There is an adjustable relief set screw with a jam nut on the side of the pump block. Note: Some set screws have a cap that cover the relief set screw. The cap will have to be removed to access the set screw.
  • Use the pump run switch to run the pump while monitoring the pressure gauge while the pump is running.
  • Monitor the pressure gauge while turning the set screw.
    • Loosen the jam nut.
    • Turn the set screw clockwise to increase pressure.
    • Turn the set screw counter clockwise to decrease pressure.
  • Do not increase pressure more than 3500 psi.
  • When adjustment is complete, tighten jam nut. Replace cap if applicable.
  • If the pressure cannot be adjusted to 3500 psi, replace the pump/motor/tank assembly.
